Sigh
You've heard of PTSD. I think I have PSTD, Predicted Snow Traumatic Disorder. We have a forecast for fog, freezing drizzle, wintry mix and...the S word, for the whole coming WEEK.

Still, nothing we can do but laugh and plow onwards!

Hey, I'm happy. I worked Lily for the third day in a row, and even got on her for three minutes and called it good. (No point in pushing my luck...) I rode Hap in a lesson with my trainer: the first time I've done so in at least two years, and he was wonderful. He could have been a fit 14 yo rather than an out of shape 22 yo. Life is good, momentarily, despite the absence on our Internet connection at home. Thank the Gay and Lesbian Fund of Colorado for the Internet Labs at the library, despite their running Windows and Internet Explorer.

I have panic attacks every time I see snow in D.C. now because of all the snow Colorado got while I was back home for vacation.

"*GASP* WHAT!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!? GO BACK TO COLORADO, WHERE YOU BELONG!"

By the end of the second day of break, I was ready to go back to school just to get away from the snow.

I heard people were selling snow on ebay. Hope you guys don't get too much more. :)

The scary thing is that according to the locals, the Farmer's Almanac predicted the other blizzards, and now is saying we will get an even BIGGER snow sometime this month.

So we are a little nervous. 0.0
